Key shape and layout have been revised for smoother playability.
Low Note Playability
The diameter of the low C and D toneholes has been reduced and acoustic annealing has been applied to enhance low note playability. Resistance is consistent throughout the instrument’s range.
Intonation
Midrange C and B (written pitch) intonation has been improved.
Engraving
The engraving design features an elegant lily motif. This radiant new design is meticulously hand crafted by artisans.
Mouthpiece
The baffle, chamber, and other areas of internal design have been reassessed and redesigned for greater projection as well as soft, beautiful tonality. The shape of the tip has been modified for increased comfort and easier embouchure control.
Semi-hard Case
The semi-hard rucksack style case supplied with the new Custom EX is made from a stylish durable material.
