Statement about your relation with Yamaha or your instrument:
Yamaha was the first music company I started official cooperation with therefore my relationship with the company's products and the company itself is highly personal. Their faith in me and my artistic work was crucial at the very beginning of my musical journey that helped and built me as an artist. Even now, performing on stage, I am proud that those couple of years ago this cooperation began and continues to this day.
How does your instrument help you in your daily life as an artist?
I spend almost the same amount of time with the instrument as with my loved ones therefore it can be said that we are like family to each other. The instrument helps me develop my passion and fulfill my musical dreams. It helps in the process of composing author's works and looking for new melodies to use in original compositions.
How would you characterise your instrument?
The Yamaha cello is an instrument that combines classical elegance with modern sound technology. Its versatility enables unlimited exploration of different musical styles making it a great choice for both traditional cellists and artists seeking new tone possibilities.
Who was your most influential teacher and is there any advice which you still follow?
In my artistic life I met many excellent teachers. Undoubtedly, an important figure for my life was my first cello teacher. She was the one who sparked passion in me and motivated me to achieve everything I could dream of. To this day, I still follow her advice and the wisdom she passed on to me when I began my art education.
Advice for a young musician:
In order to reach your own dreams, keep on working hard to the point where your signature becomes an autograph.
