YVC-330 Unified Communications Speakerphone

Users can hold meetings in open workspaces that previously seemed unsuited for remote communication without being disturbed by surrounding noises. When there are no vacant rooms or when a sudden meeting has come up, users can carry a YVC-330 speakerphone into an open workspace and begin remote communication anytime, anywhere.

Far Field Noise Reduction (FFNR)

Problem: Open workspaces can be noisy with sounds from colleague chatter, office equipment and nearby meetings. When having remote conference sessions, your conversation can be disrupted by these noises and far-end participants will have difficulty hearing you clearly.

Solution: Far Field Noise Reduction (FFNR) picks up your conversations while reducing the distracting noise around you. YVC-330 has a 3 microphone array that can acknowledge the sound from your voice verse unwanted background noise. As a result, far-end participants can hear you loud and clear enabling better collaboration.

*When using SoundCap mode, the speakerphone can accurately calculate how far away sound sources are and effectively attenuate sounds from outside of the pick-up range (within 1 m [3.3 ft] radius). This ensures human voices from within 1 m radius are delivered clearly to remote participants.

Self-Silence

Problem: Even within the virtual walls of a conversation in an open workspace, there can be various surrounding noises that can be picked up. Whether it be the ringing of a phone, computer typing or shuffling of papers, sudden noises can be distracting especially to far-end participants.

Solution: The YVC-330 includes a self-silence function that automatically mutes the microphone when the conference participant is not speaking. By using Yamaha's Human Voice Activity Detection (HVAD) technology, the YVC-330 can detect human voice from other sounds in an instant. Participants can rely on a smooth conversation without unnecessary sound whether they are speaking or not.

Self-Volume Balancer

Problem: When using a speakerphone in open workspaces, speaker output can sometimes be too quiet or too loud when ambient background noise changes, causing missed information or an inconvenience to the surrounding workers. In some cases, there is also a risk of private information being heard.

Solution: With the self-volume balancer function, the YVC-330 automatically adjusts the volume according to the ambient noise to keep an appropriate speaker volume level at all times. Participants can conduct remote conferences in open spaces without failing to hear conversation, disturbing their surroundings and keeping meeting contents private.

In a quiet small-/medium-sized conference room, the speakerphone can pick up voices of speakers from a wide area. The speakerphone can also provide sound at a sufficient volume. Users are no longer bothered with common audio problems and they can talk with each other comfortably for better team collaboration.

Small, lightweight design powered by USB brings portability to the office

The YVC-330 is sized and designed to be lightweight, easy-to-carry, and simply connected with a PC through a USB cable. This enables remote communication in any workspace, from open areas to conference rooms, in various situations.

Equipped with multiple, market-leading sound signal processing technologies to achieve enhanced communication

In order to provide stress-free, trouble-free, and comfortable remote communication, the YVC-330 is equipped with sound signal processing.

Speakerphones can remove the unwanted sound for remote communication and deliver only your voice to your call partner. The audio quality is controlled by the environment where the speakerphone is used, and sound trouble may occur. However, Yamaha's sound signal processing ensures high stability automatically adapted to the environment where the speakerphone is to be used, delivering audio with a high degree of clarity to remote call partners anytime, anywhere. Therefore, users who use the YVC-330 can also experience comfortable remote communication anytime, anywhere.

The YVC-330 employs Yamaha's most advanced sound signal processing. This enables the YVC-330 to provide high-quality sound, outperforming the YVC-300, as well as high stability unlike any other portable speakerphone (competitor device).

  • "Adaptive echo canceller" – Delivering the clarity essential to efficient business communication
  • "Noise reduction" – Reducing noise for clearer communication
  • "Automatic gain controller" – Ensuring that everyone can hear and be heard
  • "Reverberation Suppressor" – Eliminates reverberant sounds for more comfortable and easy-to-hear voices
  • "Human Voice Activity Detection" (HVAD) – Distinguishing human voice from noise

Three high-performance microphones track users to pick up voices in high quality

The YVC-330 provides three high-performance unidirectional microphones which detect where the speakers are and automatically track the voice directions, thereby enabling human voices to be focused on and picked up clearly. Combined with the HVAD, the automatic tracking helps microphones pick up human voices more than ambient sounds. This is useful for communication in noisy environments or meetings with a large number of participants.w, easier to hear and enables stress-free communication.

Achieve the highest volume in the USB bus-powered class (maximum momentary loudness of 91 dB)

The maximum momentary loudness is 91 dB. The frequency bandwidth for playback ranges from 190 - 20,000 Hz. This broad range makes a variety of voices, from high to low, easier to hear and enables stress-free communication.
